| WEST SPRINGFIELD BOY'S SWIM AND DIVE ARE DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!! Our girls got second place behind lake braddock, but that doesn't matter because everybody did so well last night. I got 2nd in my 50 free, and 3rd in my 100 fly, and both of my relays kicked ass like you wouldn't believe. We're going to take the State title in one of those relays; i can taste it! We had the worst bus driver EVER last night because we were trying to get siked for the meet with our boombox and everything and he kept telling us to turn it down. So i put the volume on soft, and he came on the bus announcer jank and was like "this is your last warning, if i hear it one more time, it gets turned off." On the bus ride home, we had the same driver, but of course we were so ecstatic with the boys' district title so we blared the music for a little bit while singing Queen, We are the Champions. I'm enjoying the 4 day weekend thus far; hopefully i get some work done today so I have some time to chill out tomorrow, and maybe see Underworld 2 with some friends. Have a good one! | | |
| So our swim team is now 3-0! Look out Patriot District, the Spartan Swim & Dive team is going to be boss this year. We beat Lee last night, and had a fun team celebration. I love all my swim friends; especially Emily, Katie, Melea, Kim, and Carol!

| What an exciting and successful way to start off the swim season! The girls team won by 50 points, and the boys team won by 105 points! We are going to be so awesome this year! Individually, I made the region cut in my 100 fly, and was part of all three winning relays! Kim Case gave me a belated birthday gift that tops everything. She gave me the new Michael Phelps featuring Ian Crocker movie, with four posters of the Speedo team. I'm definitely going to hang them up in my dorm room next year! I have a soccer game tomorrow in Williamsburg, then I have to drive back home to get to another swim meet against West Potomic! To top it off, I need to wake up early on Sunday and drive back to Williamsburg for a second soccer game; (stupid college showcases) lol, all in all, I've very proud of myself, and am looking forward to an impressive swim season! | | |
| hooray for new xanga layout! hooray for logging into xanga for the first time this holiday season! Anywho, we have our first swim meet of the season tomorrow, wish me luck! | | |
| First week of school is officially over! Anybody have any thoughts about it so far? Pep Rally? I don't know, having it outside might be a good idea! It seems like there are friggin 800 freshmen this year. I love my classes and teachers although I know it's going to be a very tough and demanding year.
Club soccer has been going for 2 weeks, and practices have been all conditioning in preparation for state cup which started this weekend, and season games which start today. I start Club swimming tomorrow morning at 4:30am for the Mason Makos; so as soon as I get home from my soccer game tonight I have to go straight to bed. I couldn't be more excited but know it's going to be hard to wake up that early three times a week.
If you're a highschool student, get a facebook! You need an invitation from somebody who goes to your school to get on, so ask me! Facebook Me! | | |
